SwapX Pro APK and the Android app
If you are searching for a SwapX Pro APK, an Android download, or the Play Store listing — this is the official page, and the answer is short.
The straight answer
The SwapX Android app is no longer available on Google Play. We have never published a direct APK download. That means every file online called "SwapX Pro APK", "SwapX Pro Mod APK", or "SwapX APK download" was packaged by someone other than us — and we cannot vouch for any of them.
The iOS app is unaffected and remains fully active on the App Store.
Why we are telling you not to install those files
This is not a licensing complaint. It is a practical warning about what a repackaged Android app actually is.
When an APK is redistributed on a mirror site, someone downloaded the original, modified it, re-signed it with their key, and uploaded it. Android has no way to tell you what changed, because the signature that would have proven authenticity was replaced. In practice that creates four concrete problems:
- Your photos go somewhere else. Face swapping uploads your image to a server. In a repackaged build, that server address can be changed. Your face — biometric data — ends up somewhere with no privacy policy and no deletion guarantee.
- Purchases vanish. Money spent inside a modified build goes to whoever modified it. We cannot see it, restore it, or refund it. Neither can Google.
- "Mod" and "unlocked" builds are a known malware vector. The promise of free premium features is exactly the bait that makes people accept an unverified install.
- They stop working anyway. Rendering happens on our servers. A build we no longer support loses access, and there is no update to fix it — which is why so many people end up searching for why their APK stopped working.
What about the APK I already installed?
If you installed an Android version earlier and it has stopped rendering, that is the expected outcome described above. There is no fix on our side, because we do not control that build.
If you paid inside it, unfortunately we cannot restore that purchase — we never received it. If you paid through the official Google Play listing while it was live, contact Google Play support, as they hold the transaction record.
Uninstalling it is the sensible move. If you entered any password or payment detail inside that app, change that password.
How to use SwapX today
On iPhone or iPad
The official app is live on the App Store, free to download with free credits included. This is the only distribution channel we operate.
In a browser — in development
A web version is being built. It will run on Android phones, tablets, and desktops with no install at all, which removes the APK problem entirely. We will announce it here first.

Is there an official SwapX Pro APK?
No. We do not distribute an APK and never have. Every file online with that name was packaged by someone else.
Where did the SwapX Pro Android app go?
It is no longer listed on Google Play. The iOS app remains fully active and continues to receive updates. More on the current status.
Is a SwapX Pro Mod APK safe?
No. It is a repackaged app, not signed by us. Purchases inside it never reach us and cannot be restored, and your uploaded photos go to servers we do not control.
Can I get SwapX from Google Play?
Not currently. Any Play Store listing using our name and artwork today is not ours — please report it to us.
Will there be an Android version again?
The route we are building is a browser version, which covers Android without an install. There is no APK planned. Platform availability.
My APK asks me to log in. Is that normal?
No. The official SwapX never asks for an account, email, or password. If an app using our name asks for credentials, it is not ours — do not enter them.
