SwapX Pro: what it is and where to get it
If you searched for SwapX Pro, an APK, a PC version, or you are wondering what happened to an app you used before — this page is the official answer.
The short version
SwapX Pro is the name people use for our app, listed on the App Store as AI Face Swap – SwapX. It runs on iPhone and iPad. There is no official Android APK and no Windows version. The only official website is swapxapp.com.
Is SwapX Pro the same as SwapX?
Yes. The App Store listing is titled AI Face Swap – SwapX, and the in-app premium tier is called Pro. Over time people started referring to the whole app as "SwapX Pro", and that is now the most common way it is searched for. Both names point to the same product.
You may also see it written as Swap X, SwapXPro, Swap X Pro AI, or SwapX AI. These are all the same app. There is no separate "Pro" download — Pro features unlock inside the app.
Why there is no SwapX Pro APK
SwapX is published for iPhone and iPad. We do not publish an Android APK. If you find a file called swapx-pro.apk, SwapX Pro Mod APK, or similar on an APK mirror site, it did not come from us.
These files are a real risk rather than a convenience:
- They are unsigned by us, so nothing guarantees the code inside matches the app you think you are installing.
- Repackaged "mod" builds are a common delivery method for credential stealers and adware.
- Any purchase you make inside such a build goes to whoever repackaged it. We cannot restore it, refund it, or support it.
- Photos you upload go to servers we do not control, with no deletion guarantee.

Is there a SwapX Pro for Windows or PC?
No. There is no official desktop build for Windows or macOS. Installers advertised as "SwapX Pro for PC" or "SwapX 電腦版" are not ours.
Some sites suggest running an Android emulator to get SwapX on a PC. That does not work either, because there is no Android build to run in the first place.
The app I had stopped working. What happened?
If an app you were using under the SwapX Pro name stopped opening, stopped rendering, or disappeared from your device, the usual explanations are:
- It was an unofficial build. Repackaged versions stop working as soon as the servers they point at go away, and there is no update path to fix them.
- The app version is out of date. Older builds can lose access to the rendering service. Updating from the App Store resolves it.
- A network or region issue. Rendering happens on our servers, so a blocked connection shows up as jobs that never finish.
Install the official app from the App Store, then open Settings and tap Restore Purchases to bring back anything you bought through your Apple ID. If you bought inside an unofficial build, that purchase is unfortunately not recoverable by us.
Does SwapX Pro need a login?
No. There is no account, no email signup, and no password. Purchases are attached to your Apple ID, which is why Restore Purchases works on a new device without you creating anything.
If a site asks you to "log in to SwapX Pro" with an email and password, it is not us. We never ask for credentials.

If you are on Android or desktop and cannot use SwapX today, we would rather tell you that plainly than send you to an unsafe APK. Whatever tool you choose, check three things before uploading a photo of your face: where images are stored, how long they are kept, and whether they are used to train models. Those answers should be in the privacy policy, and if they are not, that is your answer.

Is SwapX Pro free?
The app is free to download and comes with free credits. Extra swaps come from coin packs or a subscription bought inside the app. There is no paid download.
What is the difference between SwapX and SwapX Pro?
There is no difference in the download — it is one app. "Pro" refers to the premium tier that unlocks inside it: higher resolution output, no watermark, and priority rendering.
Can I get SwapX Pro on Google Play?
SwapX is not currently published on Google Play. Listings using our name there are not ours. Check current platform availability.
I paid but my credits are missing.
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. If that does not resolve it, email contact@swapxapp.com with your App Store receipt and we will sort it out.
Is there a redeem code or mod that unlocks Pro for free?
No. Any site offering a SwapX Pro redeem code, unlock, or mod is either harvesting your data or distributing malware. The free credits in the official app are the legitimate way to try it before paying.
