What happened to SwapX Pro?
Short version: it is still here. If you could not find it any more, here is exactly why — and what to do depending on which device you are on.

SwapX Pro is not shut down
The app is live, the servers that render your swaps are running, and development is ongoing. If you searched "what happened to SwapX Pro" expecting to find that the whole thing closed, that is not what happened.
What changed is distribution: the Android version is no longer available on Google Play. Since a large share of people who used it were on Android, it looked from the outside as though the app had disappeared. On iOS nothing changed.
If your app stopped working
Work through these in order — the first two solve almost every case.
- Check where you installed it from. If it came from anywhere other than the Apple App Store, it was not our build. Those stop working once the version they rely on is no longer supported, and there is no update that fixes them.
- Update the app. On iOS, open the App Store, search SwapX, and install any pending update. Swaps render on our servers, so older versions can lose access.
- Check your connection. Because rendering is server-side, a blocked or unstable connection shows up as a job that never finishes rather than as an error.
- Restore your purchases. In the app, open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. This works through your Apple ID — there is no account to sign into.

What about money I spent?
Bought on iPhone or iPad: tap Restore Purchases. Everything you bought through Apple is tied to your Apple ID and comes back on any device you sign into. If it does not, send us your App Store receipt.
Bought through the Google Play listing while it was live: Google holds those transaction records. Contact Google Play support directly, as they are the merchant for that purchase.
Bought inside an APK from a mirror site: that money never reached us and we have no record of it. We genuinely cannot restore or refund it — this is the main reason we tell people not to install those builds.
Where SwapX goes from here
Two things are true at once: the iOS app is the current product and is actively maintained, and a browser-based version is in development. The web version matters most to the people reading this page, because it will run on Android phones and desktop computers with nothing to install — which removes the distribution problem rather than working around it.

Beware of what fills the gap
When an app becomes hard to find, sites appear offering it. Since our Android listing came down, files claiming to be "SwapX Pro APK", "SwapX Pro Mod APK", and "SwapX Pro for PC" have spread. None of them are ours.
We would rather tell you plainly that there is no Android build than let you install something dangerous with our name on it. The details are on the APK page.
Status questions
Is SwapX Pro shut down?
No. The app and the rendering service are running normally. Only the Android distribution is gone.
Why can't I find SwapX Pro on Google Play?
The Android version is no longer listed there. The iOS app is unaffected and still on the App Store.
Why did my app stop working?
Usually an unsupported or unofficial build. Swaps render on our servers, so an old build loses access and cannot be updated. On iOS, installing the current App Store version fixes it.
Can I get my purchases back?
On iOS yes — Settings → Restore Purchases, via your Apple ID. Purchases made in unofficial Android builds never reached us and cannot be restored by us.
Is my data still safe?
Images you processed through the official app were used only to generate your result and removed from processing storage afterwards. See the Privacy Policy.
What should I use instead?
